An ancient Mediterranean mystic once wrote that: “I believe Life is
constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest
rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment
to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains,
but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound,
it is still the common denominator separating those who live their
dreams from those who live in regret. “Although the ancient mystic might
have been addressing himself to issues around the Mediterranean
continent in the 17
th century, his remarks are fresh today as
they were then. The remarks seem to be the summary and guiding
principle of Dr.Fru, another great mind, but also Watching dog Tribune
press award for excellence to meritorious Cameroonians. Dr.Fru who
emerged as Cameroon Lifetime Champion in the Promotion / Practice of
Modern Traditional Medicine is another great mind like the mystic. By
emerging as the Lifetime Champion for the promotion of modern
traditional medicine proves Dr.Fru’s level of commitment and resolve to
continue to do the things that he believes in. The Watchdog’s award to
Dr.Fru this March 9, 2013 at the Bamenda congress Hall is a sure reward
for that commitment. Who in Cameroon doubts that tenacity and resilience
of Dr.Fru in the domain of modern traditional medicine research.

The recognition which is surely life’s greatest reward is testimony of
Dr.Fru’s never-ending commitment to act until he achieves. His
achievements are after all many. His level of resolve in the domain of
modern traditional medicine research has moved and continues to move
mountains. His level of resolve has been constant and consistent. This
consistency has been the common denominator separating those who live
their dreams like Dr.Fru and those who live in regret. Dr.Fru who is a
self-made man has enriched the Cameroon modern traditional medicine
landscape with a lot of discoveries which have saved many from perishing
in the local communities in Cameroon.
Some of the many discoveries and achievements of Dr.Fru are drugs
like NeutrActiva, Tea of Wisdom and Desolin. Other successful products
of Dr.Fru are the most solicited and mysterious drugs like TRY-ME, 200
diseases cure and a host of others. Dr.Fru’s research is not ending
there and he has indicated that most of the 2012 discoveries would be
vulgarized in the 2013 campaign season. Dr.Fru believes that the
holistic nature of traditional medicine is the one thing that makes 80%
of Cameroonians to rely on it despite claims to the contrary be
defenders of conventional medicine.

The winning of "Lifetime Champion in the promotion and practice of
modern traditional medicine" by Dr. Fru is not just because of his
inventions but also because of the time and energy he puts into public
health and community health sensitization and outreach. This
sensitization outreach has taken him to all the regions of Cameroon and
with the availability of modern communication technology he is going
international. It is hoped that this new award which comes to add to
many others propels Dr.Fru on the international scene.
